Taylor, MichiganWestern Wayne Family Health Centers recently cut the ribbon at a new 5,500 square foot Health Center in Taylor, Michigan. It received $1.3 million in funding for this new Health Center in March through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act New Access Point grant program. The new Health Center, which officially opened on July 1, is currently providing primary health care and mental health services, with contracts for dental and pharmaceutical services. It is estimated that 14,575 patients in the cities of Taylor and Romulus as well as Brownstown and Huron Townships will receive care at the Health Center annually. -- Information provided by the Michigan Primary Care Association
