River Valley Primary Care Services, Inc.

Northwest Ark.

River Valley Primary Care Services is using Increased Demand for Services (IDS) stimulus money ($171,806) to increase staffing -- hiring an additional advanced practice nurse and a registered nurse and retaining a registered nurse.  The additional staff will help meet the growing need for affordable high-quality health care as unemployment continues to rise in the area. Overall, the plan is to see an additional 1,535 new patients, including 770 patients who have no health insurance. -- Information provided by the health center and Community Health Centers of Arkansas
