Anita Monoian, NACHC board Chair and CEO of Yakima Neighborhood Health Services in Yakima, WA, wrote an op-ed in the Yakima Herald expressing concerns about federal budget cuts that threaten several programs that are utilized by Federally Qualified Health Centers. Health centers currently serve over 20 million people across the U.S. and deep federal budget cuts could mean that many would go without access to basic primary care.
