Health Care for the Elderly: As the American population ages, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) advocates for elders at both the policy and program levels.
Health Care for the Homeless: NACHC supports Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) on both the program and policy levels, which provide care to homeless people in their communities.
Residents of Public Housing: Nearly 20 NACHC members serve on the NACHC Health Care in Public Housing Task Force, which considers issues and priorities related to FQHCs providing health care in public housing and makes recommendations to NACHC’s Board Chair.
Health Care for Farmworkers: NACHC supports a variety of programs to aid farmworkers.
Other Special Populations: NACHC has developed resources for Federally Qualified Health Centers for serving several of the “other” special populations.
