History has shown that our patients will come to us for help, information, and resources after a disaster or emergency - is your health center ready?  This free webinar will help to get you started on your surge capacity planning.  Our presenter, Denise Highfill of the California Primary Care Association, will discuss critical considerations of surge planning, share a surge plan developed by and for health centers, and outline a process for implementation and staff training.  In addition, she will provide a surge planning checklist to help your health center plan to meet an increased demand for services following an event.  This is one hour you don’t want to miss!

1. Begin the thought process for addressing surge in your health center/clinic.
2. Create a basic surge plan that can be expanded as needed for multiple types of surges.
3. Begin the training process for a surge situation, address all staff.
