Southwest MichiganCassopolis Family Clinic is using $150,380 in IDS (Increased Demand for Services) funding to provide oral health services to those in need through a collaborative agreement with Van Buren/Cass District Health Department. Using $462,975 in CIP (Capital Improvement Program) funding to upgrade facilities in Cassopolis and Niles by purchasing much-needed medical equipment and furnishings, office furnishings, and interior redecoration such as paint and carpeting. As much as possible, purchases are being made locally. One full-time employee will be employed to do much of the interior work, putting money back into the local economy. -- Information provided by the Michigan Primary Care Association
