HHS announces record number of National Health Service Corps members
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced that the number of participants in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) has nearly tripled. Today, more than 10,000 National Corps members – doctors, nurses and other health care providers – care for Americans in communities nationwide.
