Implementing a State-specific ACCESS plan

To put a state ACCESS plan into action, PCAs will need a comprehensive legislative strategy that seeks to preserve, strengthen and expand the health center model. In addition to creating a legislative agenda, PCAs will need to communicate the goals of their ACCESS plans to policy makers, stakeholders and the public.  This section provides tools to assist PCAs with the implementation of their ACCESS plans. Here you can find resources to assist you in the creation of a legislative agenda, communicaitons tools, and information on how to request individualized technical assistance.

Technical Assistance

NACHC is offering assistance to PCAs in the form of technical, political and strategic advice during the creation and implementation of the state legislative components to their ACCESS plans. 

Technical assistance is also available on the program expansion component to implementation.
