To put a state ACCESS plan into action, PCAs will need a comprehensive legislative strategy that seeks to preserve, strengthen and expand the health center model. In addition to creating a legislative agenda, PCAs will need to communicate the goals of their ACCESS plans to policy makers, stakeholders and the public. NACHC is offering assistance to PCAs in the form of technical, political and strategic advice during the creation and implementation of the state legislative components to their ACCESS plans.
