More about the New CEO Institute
Over two years of extensive research and planning has gone into the development of this Institute. The New CEO Institute is comprised of four main components:
Self-Paced Online Modules and Follow-up Conference Calls– 10 online self-study courses are available. Each online module includes selected reading material that has been enriched with guided reading questions, checklists, assessments, and/or toolkits to aid in retention and application. Subject matter experts will facilitate conference calls throughout the Institute to provide feedback and discussion based upon the Self-Paced Module topics.
Interactive Webinars– 5 to 6 Live webinars will be held throughout the Institute. Several of the webinars will focus on the key attributes of building a Great Health Center, and other topics will be identified based upon participant input. Webinars will be facilitated by health center representatives as well as key NACHC staff and consultants.
Face-to-Face Workshop– A 2-day workshop will be held in Orlando, Florida on September 7-8 (pre-conference to NACHC’s Community Health Institute) for participants to come together and develop strategies for overcoming challenges common to new health center CEOs. The final agenda for the face-to-face workshop will be determined by the needs of Institute participants.
Online Portal– The online portal is the gateway to the New CEO Institute. Participants will access the self-study modules, share resources and comments, and interact with other Institute participants through the online portal. A community moderator will help to manage and monitor the online portal.
