It’s that time again – announcing our September National Community Health Advocate of the Month – Jennifer Morse; Development Director at Salud Family Health Centers in Fort Lupton, Colorado! With an enthusiasm that is infectious and inspirational, Jennifer’s advocacy efforts are not only impressive – but effective! Over the past several months Jennifer created a detailed advocacy plan for Salud to expand the advocacy network and engage the CHC executive staff, board members, and patient in vital advocacy initiatives. As a result of Jennifer’s hard work and commitment to advocacy Salud has established advocacy coordinators at each Salud site, now commands and army of HC advocates, maintains supportive relationships with local, state, and federal officials, and has cultivated a true culture of advocacy at the health center! Our hats are off to a true advocacy power house – please join us in congratulating Jennifer Morse, the National Community Health Advocate of the Month for September.
