She broke her own record! Announcing the August National Community Health Advocate of the Month; Leslie Morris, Community Relations Director at the New Jersey Primary Care Association. Leslie has set a new national standard with her efforts to mobilize New Jersey’s 19 HC’s, elected officials, and community partners in celebration of National Health Center Week. This year Leslie broke her own record, coordinating more than 55 events around the state and helping to raise over $40,000 to support NHCW events all over New Jersey. For the last two years Leslie has worked tirelessly to ensure that NHCW is one of the premier primary care focuses for HC’s, HMO’s, Pharmaceutical firms, patients and legislators. Constantly focused and working hard to get the word out about HC effectiveness and engaging community partners and constituents, Leslie is simply TOP NOTCH!
